On Saturday, May 1, 2010, Congressman John Barrow (GA-12) will be hosting “Congress on the Corner” in Warren and Glascock Counties. “Congress on the Corner” is an opportunity for citizens to meet one-on-one with Congressman Barrow, to let him know their concerns, and to talk about what’s been going on in Washington. Congressman Barrow and his staff will be available to help anyone with problems they may be having with a government agency, such as the Social Security Administration, Medicare, or the Veterans Administration. “I hope folks will stop by,” said Barrow. “Times may be tough, but there are lots of things we can do to help out.” Congressman Barrow will hold Congress on the Corner on Saturday, May 1, at the following times and places:
12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. 2 West Gibson Street (In front of the Franklin Masonic Lodge), Warrenton
2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Usry’s Diner 28 East Main Street, Gibson
Residents of the 12th District are welcome to stop by and meet with the Congressman.
